Specials: SunSet Happy Hour Mon-Fri 5pm-7pm

The Attic Rooftop is the place to be on a Friday night,  located atop the penthouse of the Hilton Garden Hotel in the Theater District. A little on the pricy side, but you can't beat the views. This is a newcomer to the Rooftop Bar scene, but definitely one you need to check off the list.

Chelsea

Good For: Brunch, Nature, Change Of Pace

Specials: Famous Weekend Brunch Sat & Sun

One of the more unique rooftops on the list, Gallow Green is a nice change of pace from the traditional "Sport Coat" rooftops. Escape the concrete jungle to get a forrest feel on a rooftop that features vines and  green sights for days. They have a low key really great brunch if you are trying to fight the Sunday Scaries this Labor Day Weekend. Get the huge Punchbowl to share with the crew... trust us on this one.

Williamsburg

Good For:Meeting People, Small Groups, Stiff Drinks

Specials: Rose Bar everyday! Gratuity Free Rooftop

Some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline and located in one of NYC's fastest growing neighborhoods, this Williamsburg rooftop is the perfect place to grab a drink with the crew. It draws a friendly crowd with people that are up to talk with anyone. It gets a little crowded, so you have to make sure you get prime real estate early. Timeout says, "the crowd comprises mostly globe-trotting cool kids from outside the five boroughs, but consider that another avenue to finding a guilt-free summer fling."

**There is a cover charge of $10 if you get there after 6pm this weekend**

4) Arnold Palmer Slushies At Berry Park Rooftop

Williamsburg

Good For:Groups, 20 somethings, Beer

Specials: Happy Hour $5 Drink Specials 2pm-5pm

This rooftop doubles as a beer hall which makes it that much better! It get's a little overshadowed by the Westlight (mentioned below), but if you are looking to have a fun time with friends at a less pretentious bar, Berry Park is your place. The best part about this place is they have an epic slushie machine that serves Arnold Palmer (Arnold Palmy Alert)! This bar is definitely a great place to bring your crew this Labor Day if you are looking for a fun time. You won't have to sell your kidney either since the drinks are relatively cheap.

5) Order The Pitchers Of Margs At Pod 39

Murray Hill

Good For: Tacos, Drinks, Dates

Specials: Not big Fans of Specials

Located on the outskirts of Murray Hill, this rooftop is a bit of a hidden gem by NYC's standards. Grab a few of your friends and split a pitcher of Margs to start the weekend off on the right foot. There are great views of the Empire State Building so get there early to grab a good table. The only knock we have is that they don't do happy hour, but the pitchers are worth it!

If you spend enough time going out in NYC, there is a good chance you will hear someone suggest Westlight. Boasting a 360-degree views of Manhattan, Queens, and a little of Brooklyn, this rooftop bar has some of the best views in the entire city! It sits 22 floors up so a quick elevator ride gets you to a drink and view that you'll be talking about for weeks. If you are looking to impress a date, this is the spot.

Specials: A Beer + A Shot $10

From the geniuses that brought you Berry Park, Northern Territory aims to bring you a fun rooftop with a little twist from down under. It has a great beer and wine selection (it's Australian so it obviously has to have Fosters) with a few Australian dishes to curb your hunger. The bartenders are Aussie too soooo there is that to look forward to. Saturday nights kill it if you are around 25 years old.

Spoiled NYC says, "It maintains its sexy, Moroccan theme by way of decadent gold accents, belly dancers, not to mention being pretty dimly-lit." Sounds like a great Friday night to us!
