2017's 9 Most Hyped NYC Rooftop Bars On NativX

As 2017 wraps up (pun totally intended) and we bring in 2018 with open arms, it's a time of reflection. And by reflection, we mean look back at the awesome places that the NativX family couldn't get enough of! We dug through our data and used a little bit of black magic to throw together a list of 9 of the most saved rooftops on NativX. There were some that surprised us and some that made a late run to the top. There is one thing we know for sure though, we've already chalked these down to visit next year!

2017's Most Hyped NYC Rooftop Bars On NativX

1) Pod 39

145 E 39th St, New York, NY 10016

Pro Tip:

The rooftop view gets a solid 10/10, and the atmosphere crushes it. Split a pitcher of margs with the crew to get the best value.

2) Northern Territory Rooftop

12 Franklin St, Brooklyn, NY 11222

Pro Tip:

The rooftop opens at 2pm so make sure to secure your spot early. they have australian beers and a great sunset view. saturday night is great if you're 25... - NYC Native @jamiekane

3) Lucy's Cantina

1 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY 10119

Pro Tip

Located close to Penn Station and MSG, this is a great place to stop in before heading out. It’s got one of those chill rooftops that doesn’t attract the “rooftop bar type” You know what we mean.

4) Berry Park

4 Berry St, Brooklyn, NY 11211

Pro Tip

Berry Park offers some epic views of Manhatten. It isn't the tallest rooftop, but sometimes thats a good thing. Natives are obsessed with the Huckleberry Lemonade.

5) Haven

132 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036

Pro Tip:

This was a really popular place on NativX for the weekdays - specifically Thursday. Must be the after work happy hour heros. It fills up quickly so make sure to get there before the rush.

6) IDES Rooftop Lounge

80 Wythe Ave & North 11th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11249

Pro Tip:

The IDES has top notch views of Manhattan and some pretty stiff drinks. At night they charge a $10 cover, which we guess is the price you pay to get those views.

7) Westlight Rooftop

111 N 12th St, Brooklyn, NY 11249

Pro Tip:

Westlight has some of the best views of any of the rooftops on this list. Expect a line, but if you are looking for some sunset views, this is the place. Just a fair warning, usually the best views attract the not so great crowd.

8) Loreley Beer Garden

7 Rivington St, New York, NY 10002

Pro Tip:

We're huge fans of the rooftop/beer garden hybrid, and it looks like our users were too! Grab the crew, order some brews, and enjoy the views. It is actually the largest heated outdoor beer garden in Manhattan's Lower East Side so you can hit this year round!

9) Beer Authority NYC

300 W 40th St, New York, NY 10018

Pro Tip:

This was a late riser that gained ground at the end of the year to nab one of the top spots. This place is huge so there is plenty of room, but you have to get lucky to score a table on the roof.
