So we asked the Philly Natives about their favorite places in Philly right now. These are some seriously awesome places! Check them out, grab the crew, and have a hell of a time. Oh, and make sure to thank the Natives for the life changing recommendations!

The Philly Native List

Oyster House

Pro Tip: @phillyfoodgirls

Try their Dump Dinner! For $35/person you'll get lobster, clams, mussels, sausage, & veggies served family style. There is a $20/person all you can drink add on, too!

Independence Beer Garden

Pro Tip: @pdonavan39

Great atmosphere at any time of the day, but I especially like it during the day. Tons of different bars/beer stands surrounded by all sorts of different outdoor games. Anything from shuffle board, connect 4, jenga, and cornhole.

Garage

Pro Tip: @mattcorrigan

Fun bar with hundreds of kinds of beer. Pool tables, shuffleboard and ski ball make it a great place to hang out with TV's all over for any sporting event you want to watch. Get control of the jukebox and the night is yours.

Tria Wine Bar

Pro Tip: @rebecca

Have been more times than I can count & have never been disappointed. Best place to go if you like trying new craft beers/wine & like multiple small plates. Sunday they feature 1 cheese, wine, and beer for a discounted price.

Umai Umai

Best. Sushi. Ever. #phillyfoodies

Pro Tip: @phillyfoodies

The Most Amazing Sushi I've Ever Had In My Life. Make Sure You Have A Reservation; It's Super Small In There, And You Don't Want To Miss Out. Order The Pingu Roll - Crispy Cream Cheese & Chive Roll, Spicy Red Crab Salad, And Potato Crunch. My All-Time Favorite!

Pub And Kitchen

Pro Tip: @ericmontanari

A neighborhood bar done the right way. Snacks, sandwiches, and entrees all available. Great Happy hour too which includes old fashions and rose.

Buffalo Billiards

Pro Tip: @mattcorrigan

Awesome place to watch a game with some decent bar food. TV's are littered throughout with pool tables, shuffleboard, darts etc being options throughout.

Bar Bombon

Pro Tip: @jillp

Philly has several great speakeasies, but this is one of my personal favorites. It can be tough to find your first time and there's usually a bit of a line, but it's worth it. Great for a quiet date night.

Pizzeria Vetri

Pro Tip: @austincinalli

Best pizza in Philly! Feels like you're in Italy...yea it's that good. Try the Affogato (soft serve ice cream w/ a shot of espresso) it's a game changer!

Ranstead Room

Pro Tip: @benbowman

Philly has several great speakeasies, but this is one of my personal favorites. It can be tough to find your first time and there's usually a bit of a line, but it's worth it. Great for a quiet date night.

Fette Sau

Pro Tip: @chowski

Right next to Frankford hall, great southern BBQ/comfort foods. Huge whiskey and bourbon selection. Great atmosphere.

El Camino

Pro Tip: @tomschloendorn

El camino is a very popular Mexican restaurant. They have awesome margarita pitchers, delicious food, and the atmosphere is awesome. I went on Cinco De Mayo and had a great time.

Triangle Tavern

Pro Tip: @krissy

It's been around since 1933. Old-school Italian food, but with a flare. Young crowd, and great for anyone who has dietary restrictions (vegan, veg, etc).

Urban Saloon

Pro Tip: @rferrall

In the heart of Fairmount accross from the Eastern State Penitentiary. Increadible food and drinks, especially the chicken fingers, nachos, and Moscow Mules.

Barbuzzo

Pro Tip: @jennm

A small Mediterranean restaurant with a lot to offer. Make sure to try the pan seared gnocchi and a bandino for dessert even if you have to take it to go. They tend to be busy at all hours so try to make a reservation!

Dmitri's

Has awesome Mediterranean food with a very fresh seafood selection. Dimitir's doesn't serve alcohol but is BYOB. Has a very nice quiet vibe.
